Lakeside Metals is a metal service center with over 30 years of quality, service, and reliability; supplying tin mill and flat rolled steel master coils, slit coil and cut sheets.
We are a customer driven company, and every employee of Lakeside Metals is a member of the customer service team. Quality is the primary focus of all employees.
History
Lakeside Metals was formed in 1989 with the acquisition of Metal Purchasing’s Chicago operation. In 2011 we acquired Tinplate Purchasing Corporation, which was one of the oldest tin mill service centers in North America. Since that time our organization has continued to expand our customer, product and sourcing portfolios.
Today we operate processing facilities in Bryan, Ohio and Chicago, Illinois including precision sheeting and slitting. Our administrative offices are in Willowbrook, Illinois.
Our heritage of quality, service, and reliability is our foundation for continued growth.
Constant Improvement & Inventory
For over 30 years we have worked hard to maintain our flexibility and insight in order to react to changing market conditions. We have built lasting relationships by working with our customers as partners to create value added opportunities that enhance their profitability.
We believe strongly in inventory management, and we place a very high value on our supplier relationships. We stock a significant inventory of tinplate, blackplate, tin free steel, light gauge cold rolled and galvanized products. With our extensive inventory Lakeside Metals can decrease your lead time and provide just in time delivery.
Financial Resources & Metals
We are committed to reinvesting in our business. Over the past several years we have committed significant capital to the business investing in new equipment as well as growing our operational footprint. We are currently building upon our metals portfolio adding new product lines.
Lakeside Metals has the ability to work with tin mill products, aluminum, stainless steel, pre-painted coils and other light gauge sheet products. We process material from our extensive inventory and toll process customer owned material as well.
